Pop Star Justin Timberlake Arrested for DWI in Sag Harbor

Sag Harbor, NY - June 19, 2024 - Justin Timberlake, singer and former boy band member of NSYNC, was arrested early Tuesday morning in Sag Harbor, New York, on charges of driving while intoxicated (DWI).

Following a traffic stop early Tuesday morning in Sag Harbor, New York, singer Justin Timberlake was arrested on DWI charges. According to a statement released by the Sag Harbor Police Department, officers pulled over Timberlake's vehicle at approximately 12:37 am after observing him disregard a stop sign and veer out of his lane while traveling on Madison Street.

Court documents reveal that Timberlake refused to submit to a breathalyzer test on three separate occasions. He reportedly informed the arresting officer that he had consumed only "one martini" before driving home from a dinner gathering with friends.

Following his arraignment at Sag Harbor Village Justice Court, Timberlake was released on his own recognizance. A scheduled court hearing will take place on July 26, 2024.

Edward Burke Jr., Timberlake's attorney, has confirmed that he will be "vigorously defending" his client throughout the legal proceedings. This arrest marks Timberlake's second run-in with the law concerning driving under the influence. More information regarding the investigation and potential consequences will likely be revealed as the case progresses.
