The upcoming Monday drawing is poised to break records with an estimated jackpot of $1.9 billion and a cash option of $929.1 million, as reported on the Ohio Lottery website.


The winning numbers for the previous Saturday's Powerball, which had a historic jackpot of $1.6 billion, were: 28, 45, 53, 56, and 69, with the red Powerball number being 20. The Power Play multiplier was 3X.


It's noteworthy that the Saturday jackpot of $1.6 billion also set a new record. Before this, the Wednesday jackpot of $1.2 billion had claimed the spot as the second-largest prize in the history of the game. The previous record for the largest Powerball jackpot was $1.586 billion in January 2016.

While the grand prize remained elusive, 16 other tickets secured million-dollar prizes by correctly matching all five white balls, as reported by USA Today. Notably, one ticket sold in Kentucky utilized the Power Play option to claim a $2 million prize. Overall, the drawing on Saturday produced over 10.9 million winning tickets, resulting in cash prizes totaling $102.2 million

The jackpot currently sits at a record-breaking $1.6 billion, with a cash value of $782 million. The Wednesday jackpot of $1.2 billion marked the third-largest prize in the game's history. The second-highest Powerball jackpot was $1.586 billion in January 2016.
